Making a dash for The Future and Teh Interwebs

UPDATED 08 APRIL 2008

You might of noticed a few small changes to the layout of my blog recently.

With moving to Spain I've started to embrace new technologies to enable my family to keep more in touch with me.

Some new features to my blog are you can now easily digg any of my blog posts if you so please.

You can also find my Digg (what I am reading online), Twitter (what I am upto at this minute) and Flickr (what I can see) badges on the side and if you use either of these why not add my to your list of followers/diggers/contacts/friends. The more the merrier.

EDIT: We have now found a decent website for our videos. Check out robbiesherman.blip.tv for video updates of what we are up to.

But you're still using blogger with it's crappy comments feeds that don't tie the comments back to the posts they relate to. :P

I hardly use the comments. Although blogger has been off with sending me emails of comments for the past few days so I have been using comments feed to see who has posted, which has been very helpful and a bit of a God send :D.

Blogger, in my opinion, is far better then wordpress.com. That site seems very restrictive compared to some of the stuff I've been able to do on here (flickr slide show and sidebar widgets)

But your readers may use comment feeds as a way to track what's being said :)

Host your own wordpress blog, then you can do whatever you want :D

Plus I don't see the widgets most of the time due to using agregators and readers :D

I dont think I have the technical skills for hosting my own blog. But some of the stuff you guys do with wordpress.org is really cool.

I went on Twitter for the first time ever today. I find it weird. Very weird... IT's just like facebook status updates, but a lot more stalkery.

Am I wrong? :D

ariiiiiiiiiiibbbbbaaaa!!

It is just like facebook status, just a little more indepth.
I'm using it as another way for my family to see my daily routine and keep in touch.
